STOP THE MUIRTACK QUARRY

This would totally spoil the quiet idiliac country area setting that we just moved to. The roads are narrow & in a poor enough condition without constant heavy lorries running alday

The road infrastructure cannot support lorries.

The roads around this area are not of a high standard to allow safe transit when large trucks would be using them several times per day. Several properties sit on the very side of this track which would mean their home lives would be severely impacted by this quarry

Roads are far too narrow for quarry traffic in addition to the farm vehicles and local residents using them. The environmental impact on local residents is unacceptable.

This is an unsuitable location for an excavation site, increased road traffic consisting of heavy lorries will damage the road and surrounding structures such as drystone dykes, buildings, etc through vibration caused by frequent heavy vehicle use. The roads in the vicinity of the site are not designed for this type of use. This will be a safety hazard, residents safety is paramount and should be considered a priority. The site sits close to residential buildings and stables which be affected by noise pollution from the machinery, excavating and stone crushing, etc. There will also be a risk of air bourne particles which can affect adjacent ground, animals, buildings and be a health hazard. The planning committee and local councillors should consider the impact this type of development will have on the environment, community, safety of residents, livestock and endangering the local wildlife.

This is an unsuitable area for this kind of industry as it is close by houses that have very young children and elderly people . The road leading to this quarry is highly unsuitable for this amount of traffic as there is nowhere for traffic to go when they meet. The noise and pollution will be horrendous for the ones closest to it and will have a huge impact on lives and businesses in the surrounding area !

Planners should take head of the speed of some of these lorries.

There is plenty of country side that could be an alternative. Keep quarries away from families.

I think this is a ridiculous idea for a lovely country area. We have only been living here 3 months. We have 2 children who get buses to school. We also have farm animals who are going to be very distracted by the noise. Why have all neighbour not been contacted about this from the council? The road is in no fit state to cope with constant lorries going up and down every day.

This road isn't well kept by the council as it is, with the increase of large lorries driving on them it'll make them worse. It's dangerous enough a car meeting another car on this road. It's an accident waiting to happen if this goes ahead.

This quarry will affect the much wider country community of muirtack as every road leading in and out to is unfit for this

Everyone has the right to be able to play and walk safely in their own neibourhood, my freind and her family included.

This is not a safe place to build a quarry. Narrow busy roads with poor visibility would mean it is too dangerous for the residents with the increase of traffic the quarry would bring.

Wrong place for a quarry, near houses and where small children play, also single track road used frequently by the local Arnage school bus.
