MOD is a great land owner already. This needs to stay open to the public and help local people. Places like this are iconic and should remain available for the public to visit.

My dad has been to Cape Wrath and commented that it is a truly wild and unique place and one day hopes he can take me to visit. What a disaster therefore for it to be threatened with being closed to the nation. Please stop this from happening and continue to keep this treasure accessible to all.

Complete and utter nonsense let them go and destroy something else. We've seen what they've done to Warcrop in the Pennines complete mess and they never clear anything up!

I visited the lighthouse on my bike in 1975. It was a wonderful ride, and I want today's young explorers to have the same opportunity. I'm not opposed to closures on specific days for military exercises, but a total closure is a terrible idea, and surely contravenes the right-to-roam laws.

This would be a terrible idea. Cape Wrath is a beautiful area, and to prevent public access would be a serious infringement. Having visited The Cape, I strongly oppose this notion.
