Whitney Houston had long moved beyond the part of life that this biopic has chosen to cover. She never wrote an autobiography about her life which would have at least been her story in her own words. Since she did not at least do that, it seems as though this biopic would be a one-sided affair. That's not fair to her Legacy nor to her only child and family. Hopefully if Lifetime or any of Whitney's alleged friends will focus on her music and philanthropy and not the marriage years. Don't get me wrong because Whitney loved her daughter and at some time was happy during that time but you all said it best most of it tumultuous. What gets me the most of all is the ones who want to tell others stories haven't told their own stories. For everyone involved in this biopic, if you truly loved and knew Whitney you all know how much she protected her privacy, so do something more positive in her careers or find another artist to do one on. If doesn't promote positivity towards Whitney's Legacy, please let it go.

Whitney should be remembered for her incredible talents, not her tumultuous relationship with Bobby Brown. Why aren't people spending time and money preserving her legacy instead of releasing trashy movies that will only hurt her image further. Her fans do not want to see this rubbish.

This movie should NOT be made. I do Not support. Nobody but Whitney could do Whitney justice; and unfortunately shes no longer here with us. So, just let her legacy continue to live on with her music, and HER movies. NO BIOPICS!!

Why for just once, respect the hard work NIP put thru her life career with showing her talent? Nip trial & tribulation had already been in displayed yet at time continues to be showcase. Can as atleast for once anyone in the industry show the respect that she showed to everyone who work with her and had the honor to have such a carring human being around. Nip talent and the heart for carring should be the "Biopic" we already know what the outcome/ending of her journey.

Usually these biographical tv movies turn out to be utter nonsense.
Look what they did with Billie Holiday. Pure rubbish.
One of the greatest gift that Whitney had was to bring people from all over together through her music. Very few artists have achieved that. Maybe this is one of the reasons why they are still trying to bring her down even after her death.

Whitney Houston was a beautiful person and she is The Voice. Bobbi Kristina and Ms. Cissy do not approve of this movie about Whitney`s marriage to Bobby.

I am a true fan had the pleasure of meeting Whitney on numerous occasions due to the fact that I was friends with Bobbys now deceased older sister Bethy. I loved her music and her as a person it saddens me that Lifetime would attempt to make a movie about Whitney Houston that could only last last hours at the most we are talking about a multi talented multi-Faceted woman who touched the lives of millions. I can not believe Angela Bassett has signed on to direct this film at all. How they make a movie without the families support that means the movie will be based on tabloid fodder and a bunch of stories given second hand. It is degrading to her memory period point blank.
