My child would also have to go to a D rated school if it wasn't for the Step Up scholarship. I am a single working mother and this is the only way my child will get a Christian education. We tried Public school and my daughter hated it. She didn't understand why she wasn't allowed to talk about Jesus openly and freely.

Because of this wonderful scholarship my child is able to attend a private Christian school where she is not only growing academically but spiritually as well.

I feel we have a right to choose what school instition our children should atted. It is our choice and since most public schools are failing, the private schools have stepped up there qualifications and requirements . All in all as a resident in Broward county Florida I prefer a private school for my daughter. I am greatful to have step up for kids and promote them!

Thanks to Step Up my child receives an education based on their religious beliefs in a school also provides opportunities for an athletic scholarship.

The best decision I have made, to date, is enrolling my daughter in a private school. Because my income is limited, I was worried this wouldn't be an option for us. Thanks to StepUp for Students, it is and my daughter (8 years old) loves school more than ever this year.
Why take it away? Kids get great education in christian community.

My child is a recipient and she has had so much opportunity that we might bot have known about nd she has mad all a's since and now plans to attend boarding school Thanks Step up For Students.
