The scholarships provided to our children are not the full dollar amount a public school spends per pupil. Not only do Step Up scholarships save the state money, many times our children recieve better education than the state can provide.

The step up for students program is the only thing way I was able to send my three children to the school that they needed. This program is a sensual and should not be disbanded for reasons that do not take into account the actual student

Parents should have the right to choose public or private school. this programs let's parents make a choice on what THEY think is best and can leave the financial burden out of it. Thank you Step up!

I can't understand why the state would want to keep children from being afforded a better education. These children deserve a chance to thrive just as other children and we parents want the best for our children so that one day they can afford to pay their children's tuition in time and potentially sponsor another child. This lawsuit needs to be dropped.

I am widowed mother of five adopted children, 2 of which probably wouldn't survive in public schools. This scholarship is a real lifesaver for them.

If wasn't for step up for students I don't knwo where I'd be I have 7 children and am a single mom It's our choice on how to educate and bring up our children where is the democracy of our country if they aare trying to disrupt our childrens wellbeing!! My country has already sepreated my children from their father by deporting him back to Mexico when I was pregnant with our last child now they want to take away there possibilty to stay where they have found comfort in there school and with the help I'm able to keep them where they belong. STOP the nonsence you have a choice too don't take away our choice we are supposed to be the land of the free and a country filled with choices, well this choice envolves our kids and their well being!

Parents should have the option to choose which school will best suit their children's needs and learning styles. The decision should not be dictated to them.

My daughter is handicapped. She has been in the school district and they just do not see the things that I see as her parent. She needs to be afforded the same opportunities as all the other children but also be in a safe environment. Teachers just need to realize that parents know whats best for our children.

My daughter has had a scholarship since entering middle school, it has been a true blessing . Without it she would not be able to attend a good Christain School with morals and good kind people. No scholarship would basicly mean feeding her to the wolves of Duval County public school. on one hand her

I want my kid to be in a private school the reason is that public schools suck big time. The reasons are the followiing the # 1 reason is because the only thing the public school put in kids head is FCAT, my opinion FCAT is a test that waste time of kids. Second my son when he was in public school he only got bad grades. And now in private school he gets good grades. All of this lawsuit is just to get kids to public schools so that public schools get more and more rich and they dont give a shit about students only about money.
