As a parent of a young child who did not fair well with a negative intolerant and inconsiderate public school teacher who wouldn't work with him or his family, I've really been looking forward to this scholarship so my son could go to a better, private school. I should not have to worry about my son being "stuck" with a someone "just looking for a paycheck" because I, a single mom, can't afford to take him to a good school with educators that actually love what they do!

Step up for students helped changed my son lives in the most positive way , their success is thanks to the scholarship program opportunity to attend a private catholic school. Please stop interfering with parental rights. How could my decision to send my child to a catholic school or not be a matter of consequence to you?

I am really upset that the state teacher union and school boards association filed a lawsuit asking a judge to shut down the scholarship program.

This scholarship is allowing children with special needs to be fully included in classrooms - something impossible to find at the local public school. This program is a shining star of hope for a better education for ALL children.

Every child deserves an equl opportunity for a quality education. Many thanks to those businesses and organizations that make this scholarship possible for the children in ours state who may otherswise not have that opportunity! How selfish of the FL Education Association to want to interfere with a process that is a blessing for 67,000 needy children!

I am a single mother of three, their father doesn't pay child support or help with their education at all. I am so grateful to step up for students. They have afforded my children an amazing education in a beautiful school. Because of this scholarship my kids have an education foundation that will change their lives. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

My child is doing so much better in private school then she did in public school. She was bullied at public school and no one did anything to stop this kid, even with me calling and going in to the school. The kid that was bullying her had done this to a let of kids and still he was a loud to go to this school. The principal wouldn't even remove my child from that class until I was treating to call channel 9 and report her to the school board. After that I decide private school was my only answer because they don't put up with bullying and if a child does that and continues he is kicked out.

The step up scholarship is one of the best things that help our big family. Why would anyone want to stop it from helping so many children to get educated in an environment best for them? The future of our country depends on raising new leaders. These leaders are being made right now in those smaller private schools. Don't shoot yourselves in a foot!

This lawsuit has to stop I am mother of three and cannot afford the amount the School offers without step up and public school is a joke my Kids with not advance as well as they as doing pray this does not scholarship stay for those who need it.

ALL children should be allowed the opportunity to receive a more suitable way of education and leaning programs not just those who a fortunate to pay out of their pockets. why are you trying to stop children from being the next educated doctor lawyer teacher who may be coming out of middle class or below families why not give our children all children the opportunity to become someone great

Why can't the parents choose what school they want their child to attend, whether religious or not? Please stop interfering with parental rights. How could my decision to send my child to a religious school or not be a matter of consequence to you?
