The benefits of this scholarship to children of familiies who cannot afford private school cannot be recounted even in the largest volume. I am grateful for it and will support it LONG after my children are no longer in school because it is necessary.

Is difficult to understand that a program that is helping kids and parents to have the opportunity to choose private Christian School. My sister died and I am raising her son I am so blessed that he is in a school that has the love of God in their study activities. Please don't take away programs like Step Students it will take away a future for our kids

I am so disappointed in the pure ignorance of the parties who filed this lawsuit. Our public education system is filled with overcrowded classrooms and standardized testing that fail our children. Children deserve to be afforded choices and opportunities. The step up program gives some of the most at risk children an opportunity to flourish in new environments. Most of the schools are religious based and center around Christian education. The public schools can't incorporate any religion in their curriculum. For parents with a strong faith at home. Finding a school that shares the same values and principles is key in creating a good foundation for their children. Furthermore, the students have a chance to partake in a more diverse curriculum. One that does not have to simply focus on standardized materials. It's a more well rounded curriculum. To simply put it. Children and parents have a right to choose. That is our liberty in this country!
