The StepUp scholarship has been the best thing for my kids.

As a single mother of three the Step Up Scholarship has provided my three children with a fabulous education in a safe environment. This scholarship has made our family grow stronger together! I praise God for allowing my three children to be a part of this dedicated scholarship!

I should have the right to place my child in whatever school I want, not mandated by what the government.

Let's Step Up For The Kids!

My child was failing in public school. The classes were too big to give him individualized attention. He has excelled since being on the scholarship. The private he is attending has classes small enough where the teacher is able to help him one on one when he needs it. I am so thankful for the opportunity for him to have this chance. It has greatly improved his self esteem and confidence as well as his education! The step up for student has changed his life and his future. That is priceless. Now, both my boys are on the scholarship. To be honest, if it weren't for this scholarship in florida, I would have moved from the state years ago due to the high cost of living. If it is done away, I will indeed move.

If teh public schools could serve our children, and not ask us to remove them, there would be no need for this program. However, this is not the case.

I am very grateful for the Step-Up for Students Scholarship Program. We never thought it would be possible to send our son to a Catholic school, because of the help of Step-Up For Students, the values we are trying to teach our children are now supported and also taught in school. Our world is already so tainted and twisted that it is already so hard to live and practice our faith. With Step-Up, we feel that the values are reiterated in school not ridiculed. Please keep supporting the Step-Up for Students Program, current low-income families due to back-to-back lay-offs from different companies caused by the bad economy desperately need something good to hold onto to be able to give to their children even in their most destitute time of their lives.

This is unjust. People should find something better to do.

There is only 1 good rated middle school in our disstrict and a very small pool for reassignment. Freedom to be able to send our student to a respectable school near our home. I pay taxes for schooling and should have favor to use those benefits for schooling. If the public sector is not competent I should be able to choose a competent school whether a private secular or private christian should not matter.
