Stop The Lawsuit Against Florida's Tax Credit Scholarships (Step Up For Students)

Teacher's union does not care about education, but themselves to make our kids their own properties.

Can I have a choice to find a school that fits better to my son even if i can not afford it? My son is having the best opportunity to study an make friends in a private school he feels comfortable to be, without those bullying and loneliness. There is no price to see my son having pleasure to go to school and see him smiling after school. Thanks to SUFS I see a bright future for my son.

If it weren't for the scholatship my son would be in a public school and falling behind because they're works not challenging enough

I believe our children are the future and if we give them the tools needs to be successful, that's how we can do our part for a better tomorrow. Giving parents a chance to give their children the education as best as possible. I am grateful for step up for students scholarship program.

It is shameful that teachers would be more concerned with the financial aspect and willing to jeopardize the education of children who benefit from this scholarship than using these efforts to discover better ways to enhance the education of our children.

Please stop this non-sense lawsuit against Step Up for Students!

I Vote and have Voted for the board and am appalled by this lawsuit. I am outraged at this current lawsuit in reference to the Step Up For Students is unconstitutional. This program has changed the life of my family. Private School as you know is expensive and this program allows Parents to partner with Step up for students in granting a certain amount to each child and the parent pays the rest. It gives the parents the choice to choose what school best fits the needs of there children. I have had my oldest child in Public school and my girls in Private. There is no comparison . Besides that I the parent get to choose where I want my child to go not my District telling me well your address is here that’s where your child HAS to go. Public School also has removed God from the equation of teaching . I the parent get to put my child in an amazing school where they teach about Jesus Christ this element is priority for my family. Its upsetting to know that some one would even think of having a lawsuit against Step Up For Students. I am against this lawsuit. Please consider all the children that would be effected by this. Our son, recently diagnosed with Autism, can and will greatly benefit from the Step Up For Students Scholarship. We offer our full support in stopping this foolish lawsuit.

Please stop this lawsuit , I'm so thankful for this scholarship program, my daugther in 8 grade said that she's so happy because we can choose the school , and we can see the difference in her grades and she love to go to school .

please don't stop the scholarship program. my child like other children are using their scholarships to its best potential. my daughters school and teacher have really made a positive impact in her life. This scholarship helps us single parents and low income parents to be able to provide our children with a good education. please dont take the scholarship from our children. They are the future of our world.

I think what the Florida School Board association is doing is disgraceful. So if they take it away, how will the school react when they have an overflow of kids coming back to the schools resulting in 'overcrowding'!! This scholarship has helped my kids learn in a more stable and monitered environment with standardized testing and a resource teacher that monitors progress and grades. My kids were in public school before and I will do everything I can to make sure they do not go back to that environment.

Please don't stop the scholarship programs thru Step Up For Students, The have given my child a chance to go to a private school, He is learning so much better and the Christrian Way. Thank You, Step Up For Students.

This program is so import to familiesthat can not afford large tuitionas . Like Myself Howear would like to child to get a good education.

Step Up For Students is a wonderful program and such a blessing in my little girls life. She is getting the education my husband and I can not afford. Her Step Up scholarship makes this possible and we couldn't be more grateful.

I am blessed for having Step up for Children scholarship since my daughter started kindergarden and now she is in 4th grade, and she is been A's honor roll since then. I will pray to God for these people that are not conscious of the damage they want to do to pur future Leaders, Doctors, Lawyers, and so on.
