Step Up For Students is a wonderful way to allow students in poverty areas attend a school of their choice. We as taxpayers are already helping the county schools. You are getting our tax dollars no matter where our children go to school. To pull the plug on the program will only over crowd your classrooms. Cooperate tax money should go anywhere the cooperations want it to go. Are you going to take away the tax benefit of donations to charities or tithes to churches to all go to public education. My children went to private school through middle school and then to a public high school. Their children now attend Christian schools because they saw the different in their own lives where they were prepared to become excellent students. One of my children is a high school counselor in a public school and said that her child will NEVER go to a public school. The only reason the lawsuit is happening is because the public schools want this money.

I am so very grateful for this program. It help so many children to get the best education possible for them. It would be devastating to have it end.

Is just not fair for the scholarship to be put to an end. I see how it had helped so many children to get a great chance to be successful in their education I took my child out of public schools because I was not happy with the way things were going for my child. Step Up For Students had helped my children so much. They are learning so much and their grades are excellent. Please don't take the scholarship away.
