Parents should have the right to send their children to the school they want to choose. The Step Up for Students program has been a great blessing for us and in this day and age a Christian education is far more important then a secular one in my opinion. We need more educational choices not less. This is the United States of America where freedom reigns! Let us all have that freedom to choose how we want to educate our children. God Bless to all and a Jesus filled Merry Christmas!

This program allowed my son to go to a private school which as a single mom I would never be able to afford. He was not being challenged like he is now. I am very grateful

I am a guardian of an 8 yr old who has been on a Step Up For Students scholarship since kindergarten and she has been on principals honor roll since day one. My question is if we lose our scholarships, how are you going to integrate 70,000 kids into the public school system without issues for them and for the school system? And also, what happened to all the money that's supposed to come from the lottery?

My daughter has been fortunate enough to receive this scholarship and I hope others will have the same opportunity for many years to come.

My child has benefited immensely from this program. It would be a huge mistake to take this choice away from Florida Families!

I think giving scholarship for young kids is promoting better education and providing them with better future.That is some thing we all have to support at every level and every time.I believe suing such a cherished mission of providing our children with better future is unacceptable and I would like to petition against this act.

If it wasnt for the Step up for students scholarship my child would be put in a failed system. My child can now be on grade level in the Duval County district and most importantly she will be properly prepared for college.
