No one no where should ever have the right to take an individuals way of education from them, be it public or private it is their right to choose. If there is a program like step-up to help and they so choose to use it... it is theirs to use. YOUR EDUCATION IS THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE THAT CAN NEVER BE TAKEN FROM YOU!!! That makes it worth fighting for. We are all created equal... so why do they care how we are educated? I thought teachers were the greatest people in the world because all they cared about was that we were educated. Guess we are only equal when they choose who educates us. Have I been wrong all along about teachers? Wonder what all the others are thinking right now? I know what my 9 year old grand daughter thinks and it makes me want to cry. I also know she thinks step-up every year for her education and for making her feel equal. Look at all the organizations I blindly thought so highly of... Now I pity them. What did my grand children ever do to you?

Step up is an amazing program that has allowed our family the opportunity to choose the right educational setting that can best meet the complex needs that our fostered and adopted children have. It would be a travesty of our tax payer dollar to ever try and take away a program that works daily to make such a postive difference in childern lives. To destroy this program is to destroy these childern's hope for the wonderful bright future they so deserve!!!
