We need Step Up For Students. Florida Education Associations, mind your own business. We can not conform to low a quality educational system for our children.

The scholarship has changed my children's life they excelled in school and currently have straight A's and are able to attend a school that we couldn't afford but allows them to be surrounded by wonderful teachers.

Both of my kids use this program. They both get A's and B's and get better one on one attention then they ever would if they didn't get it and had to go to public school.

Please do not deprive children of the excellent educations they are receiving in private schools due to the "Step Up For Students" scholarship program.

Why would you bring a lawsuit against a program that is doing so much good to some of the most disadvantaged in our community? If you truly have the interests of our state's children in mind, leave this successful program alone. Focus your efforts on raising the bar at the other educational institutions that operate with double the amount of tuition dollars per child and still don't do as good a job. Throwing more money at our broken state system without fixing its structure first is not a solution; it is rather illogical and a waste of valuable tax dollars. This program does offer a good solution to thousands of families. It improves our community and the lawsuit to derail it is obviously motivated by something other than the best interests of our children. This program works and we as a tax-paying community should be proud to support it.

This scholarship is the best thing that has happened to my children and my family. They both are now straight A students and are able to attend a school that I couldn't otherwise afford. It has a small, caring environment, wonderful teachers and excellent academics. This school is my sons' second family and they would be devastated if they had to go somewhere else. Please don't take this choice away from the kids and parents. You should be about fixing what is NOT working, not messing up what IS working.
