Stop The Lawsuit Against Florida's Tax Credit Scholarships (Step Up For Students)

This program has been remarkable. If the public schools want to sue, then they better 'step up' their game and do a better job educating kids. Broward public schools ought to be ashamed of themselves. Thanks step up for students for standing up for parents and kids that want better education alternatives. Let our voice be heard!

Please keep the program, it will provide much needed help to aid in my son's education.

There's no stopping the people and for more than a generation we've put up with declining education and increased spending. Time's up! The union will be broken eventually.

I want the choice to send my child to private school.

Not only should the school choice scholarships remain intact, Florida needs to implement vouchers allowing parents the ability to choose the school for their children that best meets their needs.

Please stop this madness! My daughters do not deserve to go the terrible school University Park that we are zoned for! That school is a breeding ground for Bullies!! I think the whole public school system should be privatized! Rick Scott had a good idea, by privatizing many state funded programs and divisions. For example many prisons have been privatized. It saves the state money! We want to save the state money! IT costs less for a private school voucher than for one year of publicly funded education. My husband is an honorable discharge disabled veteran. He cannot work full time anywhere. I could not afford to put my 3 children in private school without this florida tax voucher! We are taxpayers too, we deserve to make a choice for our children's future! My other two high school age children are in Public school.

Let's fight to stop this law suit.. We are tax payer..

Every child deserves a choice! Step Up has given us an alternative option and our son is excelling in his academics.

This is absolutely absurd. Parents should have the right to send their children to private schools if they so choose. The public school system in Florida is an absolute farce with their FCAT tests and scores for funding. My grandchildren go to a private school exactly for this reason.

As a homeowner, taxpayer, and parent, I have supported the Florida public school system without any choice as to how my tax dollars were spent, even though my children were attending a private school and did not benefit at all from that money. I have had to work 3 jobs, at times, to be able to afford to keep my sons in the school of my choice, while the public school system used my tax dollars. Now the FEA is wasting money on a frivolous lawsuit. This has to stop!

No one should have the right to take away education from our children.

I don't think anyone should have the right to take away our choice as to the type or quality Education we choose for our children. what I think should be looked at is in Alachua County if you pay property taxes they also take out for public schools wether you have children or not. what are we paying for???

Don't take away my sons right to good education provided by tax payers who donate money that is already taxed. We have our right to choose.

I am begging you not to take away step up for my student.

StepUp For Students helps my girls receive a great Christian education. They can't get the Word of God in the public schools, so that's why they aren't there!

My daughter is learning and thriving in her new school. She would be heartbroken if she had to leave. She was in a heart class and would be sent back to a school with a very low grade.
