this scholarship provides a choice for parents to choose an education for their children other than public school. Let's continue empowering parents as to their God-given rights to choose what is best for their children. Why would anyone want to take that right away from the PARENTS?

The Step Up For Students Scholarships for Wakulla Christian School means everything. Without this scholarship our school would not be able to teach the 160 students that attend our little school to receive a small family style education. Most of our students don't do well in a large public school education environment. Our students flourish in a small hands on environment. Please don't take away this scholarship away from these students. Trust me when I say that our students benefit in so many ways and will be far more successful in life having been in a small specialized school environment. Our little school isn't currently public education we are actually helping it my meeting needs of these students that a larger environment can't meet in the same ways. I and my children are a product of public school. I am not against public school but, I am for private education that meets the needs of so many young people. The Step Up Scholarship gives low income families opportunities that they would not other wise be able to afford. Thank you for your consideration.

If it wasn't for this scholarship I would be home schooling my children because I would never send them to the schools that are in my area. Why take away something from hard working people who just want to give their children the best education possible and from these innocent children who only want to succeed in life?

It is our right to choose the best education for each individual child. I have one child with learning disabilities and three that are average learners. In public school they were failing, and my child with learning disabilities was never educated with the compassion and understanding that she receives today, She is now an Honor Roll student! The other 3 are on the Principal's list! What a difference these scholarships have made!!

Please keep up with the scholarship. It really benefits a lot of students as the public school system in Florida is not the greatest.
