I strongly feel my sons need this kind of school to better themselves and I can afford the payments without the Step Up scholarships.

No, this can't happen. My child is looking at advanced classes because of this school overall environment. She has done nothing but excel in this school of choice that we would have had to remove her when our personal finances did not support the schools full tuition.

Step Up is a real blessing to our kids. Please think about all who otherwise wouldn't have a choice of education or different learning settings to help them succeed.

Public schools have shown that they are incapable of educating our youth. We need to level the playing field for our students. The Step it Up scholarship is doing just that!

This program has been a tremendous help for my daughter. The private school she attends with the help of SFS has enabled her to reach grade level in all classes, from a beginning of two grades behind. Please continue this valuable program!

As a Single mom of three kids and a current chemotherapy patient, I don't know what I would do without the step up scholarship. Because I am sick, I am unable to work the amount of hours that I would need to continue to put my children in a private school and provide them with the best education they can get, like my parents did for me.

I want this scholarship to stay for my daughter. Beofrw she started private school she was getting beat up and also left to learn alone by herself. Now that I have her in private school she is above grade average and she no longer is mistreated. Please do not take this away because as a single mother I cannot afford to pay for private school.

I believe this all comes down to less money being spent on Public (yet, in morse cases, inferior) Education. The Teachers Union does not want less money in public education. It threatens their power. The Union and Governor cite weak explanations of why Step Up for Students is not legal. Now, they spend Tax Dollars to sue. I wish "Waiting For Superman" documentary was compulsory viewing. It's broken, we are trying to fix it, but power hungry people pushing their own agendas somehow forget what Step Up for Students is for is real girls and boys. People who breath and talk. I hope the kids win.

It is hard to believe that all these groups are anti- choice education. I have paid public school taxes all my life. I do not say down with the public schools. Let’s stop paying taxes for public schools. I do think the public schools get most of the money and do not do as good as the private schools in educating the children.

My daughter was strugling with reading and math in public school. Step up for students is a blessing for our family. She is now reading books at every opportunity that she can, and is getting better grades in math. Keep this wonderful scholarship for families that need it.

The opportunity to have this scholarship gives the parents the ability to choose a school that is best suited for their child's strengths, abilities and areas where they need to grow. What a gift to be able to be given that freedom. Thank you to all the people who have worked and fought hard to create this scholarship. You are positively changing the lives of many children, families and even our country. My heartfelt thank you to the whole Step Up For Students organization.
