I think it appalling that so many organizations would think more about politics then what is really important to our children. I am one parent who is very grateful for the scholarship that step up for students offer to parents like me who would not be able to afford a good education for my son with out this scholarship has provided to I and my family. THE NAACP AND THE REST OF THE ASSOCIATION SHOULD BE ASHAMED.

Step up for students has been a God send for my family. I hope that we can keep it around. It benefitted my son so much to be able to be in a small classroom instead of a packed public school. Keep up the good work StepUp!

I love the program for my daughter it allows her a chance to attend private Christian school...This is her second year with the program and I dont want to see this program taken from her...

My son is at a wonderful preschool for kindergarten that we just love. I know we are so blessed to be able to send him here as we really didn't want public school to be our only option. Please save this scholarship for future parents and kids.

The school district I live in is terrible and dangerous. If it wasn't for this scholarship my son would not be receiving an excellent education.

It is our parental right to choose our children's education. In our poor county, my children would suffer in the public school system. SUFS scholarship does not take away from the public school and this scholarship should NOT be taken away from families who choose a better education.

I just started receiving the benefits of this grant and I hear that people want to take it away. Maybe for them is OK , but not for a grandmother raising grandchildren on Social Security and trying to keep food on the table. Enough is enough!

My son is making A&B in school and learning about Christ which is very important. With his sickness with asthma as long is he has a doctor note and makeup his work it is excuss. In the public school he could fail.
