my son is able to attend the HS he wanted to because of his faith and better academics, due to this amazing group "Step up For Students" scholarship. It is embarrassing that the public school system in America wants to sue any kind of scholarship that is only helping children academicly. It's unbelievable.

The Orange County public school system really sucks. My kids attends Evans High School. And I hate that school. And my kids is not happy with that's school. So if you can get a step up for students,take it it a great opportunity for your child.

It is important for the government sectors and private organizations to provide equal chance of helping kids in need of scholarship.
Please, do not eliminate the Tax Credit Scholarship for the sake of our children.

The FL Tax Credit Scholarship has helped thousands of children since its inception. The citizens of Florida are never hurt by having more educational options, but rather, by the lack of options facing those families with lower income levels. The tax credit scholarship is working well for these families. Don't stop something that is working for the political gains of a few lobbying organizations! The citizens of Florida with ultimately have their say at the polls!

By your actions we will know where your heart is.
Dont take away a childs option to study in the best enviroment to learn about Bible teachings just because you are just interested in your own needs.
Please reconsider your lawsuit because not only are the parents happy where their children are going to school but the state will still need to spend more if the students were to go to a public school.

More than ever, with the public system now attempting to squeeze every student into one mold in order to achieve the state's one size fits all new standards, the only place individual needs can be properly addressed is through programs like the Tax Scholarship Program.

Our daughter was in public school she has dyslexia. Her needs were meet on paper meaning the IEP plan but not used by the staff. We place her in private school not only were the plan put in place but it was Also implemented her self confidence and grades have soared

The private school setting is a perfect fit for my son, who has aspergers. He really thrives in a smaller class, smaller school, more one on one attention! Step up for students allows him opportunities he would otherwise not have if he were forced back into the public school system.

This scholarship program has really been a blessing for my son. He goes to a really nice private school with the best teachers around. Without this, he wouldn't of got this far.

I am a single Mom and without this program, my child would not have the same opportunities as children of wealthier families who can afford to choose where their childred will be educated. Canceling this program would be the same as stopping scholarship and grant programs for college students, taking away their right to education. My child has a right to a scholarship for education. I would homeschool my child before ever sending them to public school. My child is thriving in her school and I would not want to take that away from her.
