I clearly 100% stand with this petition. my kids enjoy being able to attend an amazing private school. and us being his parents we are truly blessed for our son to have this schollarship

Step up has really stepped up my kids education in school!!!! I was not sure that my now 9th grader would of made it to high school through the public school.... But because of step up my kids were able to go to a really awesome school!!! Thank you step up for giving my kids the chance to be in a great private school!!!

Having the choice as to which school my children attend is very important to me. Choosing the correct environment in which will help them soar and thrive is is a right all parents should have. Having the option to apply for a scholorship , as a means of assistance, is an amazing tool to parents. It allows every child an amazing opportunity at a great education.... Regardless of how much money their parents make.

This program has changed education for my son. The some of the public schools in my area are not good at all, from most of the ones I have visited. Why shouldn't a parent have a choice as to where they want to sent their child to get a better education. It is our right to choose !!! No one should be able to take that away. Most minorities does get this options without this program. My child is excelling in his subjects and doing very well.

Please Save this scholarship program. My daughter is doing well at her school with smaller class sizes and more one on one time. If she lost her scholarship I would not be able to afford to send her to St. Peter's. I'm a single Mother of 2 daughters without and child support.

Step up is vital for my job as a private school teacher. I teach music programs to Kindergarten-4th grade classes.

My children are zoned for a D school. This scholarship allows my children to attend a school that teaches them foreign language and arts as well as the core classes. I have a degree and work a good job but would still not be able to afford the education they are getting without the help of step up for students. This scholarship is about giving children better opportunities not about the teachers.

Please do not end this great resource to help kids get a better education and struggling parents, like myself, to provide the best education that is available to kids, especially those with challenges. I know my child would not "qualify" for any diagnosis or challenge, but I do know, even at an early age, my child is gifted, and if it weren't for this resource, she would get neglected and passed up yet be expected to pass the same state standardized testing system that is severely flawed, she may even fail it. However, with the smaller class rooms in the private school and the Christian education which supports our faith in God, she is able to shine and be her absolute best. Thank you, and I hope you really do consider keeping this funding around for many more parents to use this blessing.

The community and the state would be at a HUGE loss if this scholarship becomes obsolete. Think of the bright minds who live in low-income households and the potential that would be squandered.

I started a new business a few years ago and without the help my family received from Step up for Students my kids would not have the opportunity to attend the school they do. I thank them for the assistance.
