I am thankful to be able to utilize this scholarship for my daughter. Our neighborhood elementary school is currently failing and without this option I would not be able to choose, as a parent, the school that best suits my child's educational needs. She has been on the honor roll for the past 3 years and is excelling socially and most importantly academically. Currently as a 5th grader she was inducted into the National Junior BETA club which promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary & secondary school students. Without my ability to choose and this scholarship, I feel all this potential would have never been developed and recognized in our inner city failing neighborhood school. Please do not take away my child's opportunity to succeed just because of our economic status.

This scholarship is helping children get the education they deserve. To take this oppurtunity away from children who deeply desire to learn and benefit from this program would be horrible. Please stop the law suits and give these children what they deserve.

This scholarship has helped me put my child in a very well educated environment and superior school. The schools closest to my area are a joke and are rated the lowest in the state. My child is exceeding in her class and learning to become a better and well educated adult. To take that away is to take away any childs favorite books. Why would you punish the parents who have a hard enough time financially to take away their children's future and education. For single parents and unemployeed or even low income parents with low paying jobs we want are children to succeed and go further then we could. Dont punish our children and dont punish the parents who want to see their kids rise above. Leave this program alone or even improve it even more. Taking away are children's education and future is a crime.

My child went to a public school, in k-1st grade, she also had to go to summer school in kindergarten, and she almost fell 1st grade, she's going to our church school she loves it, and her grades has improved Thanks to step it up for students program she has one on one with the teacher cause of the. Small class sizes, why would someone want to stop something that's good?

The scholarship has been a blessing for so many students and families and it has done so much good since it started. Just think of the changes and adjustments all these families would have to make by not having the scholarship any longer. It will have a negative impact in many homes. Please, rethink. God bless you.

As a parent, you want to give your kids the best of everything. Most of all, a great education. We are so blessed to have found a wonderful school. My kids are excelling there. This scholarship has been such a blessing to my kids lives. Without it, I would not have been able to afford this school. You guys want to pick on someone, pick on someone your own size!! Leave these kids alone!!

Don't let these special-interest groups take this scholarship away from our children!! This is not a government-funded program. Tax-credit scholarship programs allow businesses to claim tax credits for donations made to state-approved organizations.
