As a widow Step up for Students means a lot for me and my three kids than any body else. In another word this Organisation was created specially for my children.

Please keep the scholarship!!! My daughter is doing better than ever at her new school b/c of the scholarship. W/o it there's no way I could afford to send her. Thank you step up for students!

I have 4 children who receive the scholarship and if it is taken away we will have to sell our home and move because the public schools in our area are not safe for my children. We are so thankful for the Step Up Scholarship and pray it is not taken away from our children

The tax credit scholarship allows students to receive a great education in an environment that is conducive to learning. As tax payers it is our right to have a choice where we want our children educated.

Public schools were failing my daughter, Brooke. At some point I had enough and enrolled her in a private Christian school and today she receives A & B's. Every day I ask her, "How was your day?" and it's always, "Great, Dad!" This program works!

We have been part of Step Up for our children for 7 years. If it weren't for them our children would not be where they are today scholastically.
All are honor students and doing well in a Christian private school. I don't know what is wrong with the Teachers Union do they not have enough students to teach in their public classrooms. This is our choice to place our children where we feel is right for them. Without Step Up our children would not be able to go. Suing for this sounds like they want to deprive certain children from the freedom of choice and to keep them from progressing.

The scholarship has made a tremendous difference in our son's academic and social life. Being shy, he would have been lost in the traditional public school setting and prone to bullying. The smaller private school setting gives him a safe environment and the confidence he needs to succeed. He scored top in his grade in math and has been nominated for the National Young Leaders State Conference (NYLSC): LeadNow 2015. He is excelling in a nuturing environment that allows him to thrive. Thank you Step Up.

We are very thankful for this scholarship as we have two kids in private school. God has blessed us with this scholarship and wouldn't be able to put our kids in private school without it.

This is so wrong there is no reason that underprivileged children should be told no you can not get a better education by going to private school. You would think that the NAACP and Women Voters of Florida of all of the Associations out there. Would support the scholarship and not try to have it taken away. That is just plain selfish but what's new. PUNISH THE POOR and Praise the rich as usual.

This program has been a great blessing to our family. It is sad to think that the Florida School Board looks only at our children as dollar signs. Being once a homeschool parent you felt like you had to fight for what was best for your child's education and now using a different means of education thru this program, I seem to still find myself at odds with the school board system. Please leave OUR children alone!

The scholarship has helped my child exceed far more than anther scho which has improved her skills In reading and also grades have improved. Not being Able to afford a private school on my own Step up has helped and improved our children's education which is lacking in others schools today!

Because I love my children, I just want to give them the best education and that is what Step Up for Students is doing for them. I cannot afford the best schools in town and having my children in a private school has no price.

I'm a single mother and my daughter is so happy I put her in a private school,she learns more then I can ever imagine,thank you step up for students.for making her want and that she knows to go to collage one day.

Step Up Scholarships have been a great help for our children. This program has assisted in the education of my children preparing them to be educated and responsible citizens for the next generations.
