PARENTS have the right to choose where their children go to school, not the government or anyone else. Generous donors believe in this cause and give so that low income families can choose where to place their children to receive an excellent education. It's selfish and disgusting that anyone would want to take that benefit from parents and their children.

WE LOVE STEP UP FOR STUDENTS !!! Step for students have been an answered prayer to our family. My 5yr old son brought home straight A+ and is on the principles honor roll list. He Loves his teachers and school...and so do we ! Couldn't have done it without step up for students. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

with out this scholarship are great niece Kayla who we have court custody, would not have a chance in the public school. we had her in there for the first two years with the teachers telling us she will never be but a average student who would only make c's and we had to accept that. we put her in Christian school where she is making a's and b's and thriving to learn . they would not have given her the opportunity in the public schools. we appreciate the step up for students scholarship for her. a chance to know she is worth it and can be somebody.

The school I'm assigned to is a F school and with my children going there they became 2 years behind because the teachers had trouble teaching with all the trouble students there

Please do not stop the scholarship programs. They have helped get my son into a great school that can give him the attention he needs with his ADHD and speech/language challenges.
