This program has been a "God sent" for my children, allowing them to go to a school that not only educated their mind but also nutures their heart and spirit. Please consider that one's actions should be pure of purpose unmuttled with regard to the common good.

SUFS has afforded my child an opportunity I never thought was attainable. She learns differently than others and can become easily frustrated but is not left to fin for herself. She had A/B honor roll every quarter last school year and I am excited to she her grades this new school year. I can see the confidence in her eyes.

My son has some learning difficulties and is now able to be in a small 1st grade class of 14 students. The very supportive environment has boosted his self esteem incredibly and he is now doing well. We are grateful every day for the Step Up program! It would be totally unaffordable without it!

My Children have been going to the school of our choice for 2 years. If this is taken away from us, I will not be choosing to put them back in public schools. I will home school them. So what have they gained?

IF IT WASN'T FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP, MY DAUGHTER WOULD BE IN PUBLIC SCHOOL. SHE'S IN A GREAT SCHOOL WHERE SHE'S IN THE JR HONOR SOCIETY, CLUBS, AND PLAYS SPORTS. WITHOUT IT I CAN'T AFFORD THE SCHOOL.

The Step up for Students Scholarship is vital to our family's educaiton. If it were not for the SUFS funds, our three children would not be getting the classical education in a Christian environment that we believe is the best way for a child to be prepared for the world beyond high school! Please do not take away my children's opportunity to have so much more than I ever received with my public school education. Public school is NOT what I want for my children.

We need Step Up For Students. Some of us don't want our children and grandchildren to be taught how to except socialism or this kind of history. May need to copy and paste in browser.

I called them and asked them if they teach the real history of Islam? They said yes. I asked: Then you teach that the Koran was written by a child molester and that Muhammad had to rewrite it several times because it was so radical the people wouldn't follow him? She said: No. I asked do you teach that Muslims have been killing themselves and everyone else non stop for hundreds and hundreds of years? No answer, just thanked me for my comments.

I don't feel it's fair that people whom do it know me or my children to make decisions about the type if education my children should recieve. This scholarship has nothing short of a blessing for my daughter. The education she recieves is fantastic in comparison to her cousins who attend regular public school in St. John's county.
Please stay out of our lives and let US the parents to make the choice.

Please stop the lawsuit against the step up for students. Having the freedom to choose the school for our children is a blessing and priority for most parents, especially those with low income resources.

Step-up scholarship has helped my great grant child to make honor roll for the first time in 6 years of school. She has mor confidence in herself and feels like she's accepted by her classmate. Thank you Styep up for giving her a fair chance in the class.
