Since each student enrolled in public school has a specific $ amount attached to them that is paid to the public school they attend, why can't that money follow the child to the school of their choice private or religious?

It's private funding for parents to make a choice of school for there children. Whites, blacks, spanish etc all walks of life. You can't pull the race card. The liberals want it to line the pockets of union based organizations and their own. Also to leave all parents the only option of public schools which are indoctrination cess pools for liberalism. One size fits all.

It's private funding for parents to make a choice of school for there children. Whites, blacks, spanish etc all walks of life. You can't pull the race card. The liberals want it to line the pockets of union based organizations and their own. Also to leave all parents the only option of public schools which are indoctrination cess pools for liberalism. I work for a school board system and I am thankfull that my three boys are able to attend a good Christian school. It is common to hear them say yes sir and no sir, yes mam and no mam, and the most neglected of them all Thank you.

I don't know what other schools are doing, I do know this, we have helped hundreds of students, And for this I am thankful for Tax Credits scholarship for giving us the opportunity to do what we do. It's about our Children and their success.

The scholarship has changed my children's life they excelled in school and currently have straight A's and are able to attend a school that we couldn't afford but allows them to be surrounded by wonderful teachers.

With the increasing amount of crime in schools and the decreasing requirements for education standards it is essential for me to feel comfortable and confident with my child's education and surroundings. The Step Up for Students scholarship has provided me with the opportunity and freedom to choose a school where I feel my child can flourish. I am so greatful for this scholarship and appalled that anyone who believes in providing great education for our next generation would try to hinder this scholarship in any way. Whether the schools chosen for our children are of a religious affiliation or not is our decision as parents. The scholarship does not grant scholarships yo religious affiliated schools onlt but allows the parent to decide what is best for their child. Those who are apposing this scholarship are in essence trying to limit our options and make a decision for our children that is not for them to decide. I plead with whoever is responsible for this lawsuit against the Step Up for Students scholarship to end this lawsuit and not try to limit the only means that I have as a single parent of sending my child to a school of my choosing.
