1. Emergency response team should be set for all the major cases such as RTA team, code blue, etc.
2. Workers should be sent for Training periodically.
3. Supervision should include the laboratory attendants, doctors, cashiers, Pharmacist, Nurses and others.
Supervision team should also include other healthcare members and not only for doctors.

My mother died in 2009, because of the distance between the A&E unit and the laboratory. The doctors just wouldn't hasten up even as my mother struggled despite our pleas. **crying**

The easiest way to die is to go to the accident and emergency department of the University of Portharcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH). Saw a friend bleed to death with the doctors feeling unconcerned about life. I weep again.

leadership the distance is more than 500 mitres...
Note:human live is valueless in upth...I could recall vividly the last time i visited 3 persons were confirmed dead in d same emergency unit.....God bless comr george odu for raising this petition ...We must follow this up as soon as practicable..Cheers
