Jobs Canada hiring fair is a total scam and should be stopped and banned from having any future "fairs". Their website falsely advertised the event by promising anyone who went that there would be at least 12 or so companies at each event location doing on the spot interviews/hiring which is a total lie. The volume of reports coming in since this gained momentum provides the documentation needed for a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I am currently compiling these accounts into a dossier to send to the provincial consumer protection agency this week.

A total waste of time and money only giving false hope. One individual that was "hiring" actually seemed surprised that people thought there were vacancies There now. Total scam.
This was a complete scam, I have emailed Manitoba Jobs and they have yet to reply about a refund they need to be stopped

Honestly was horrible, sure I got a job interview out of it but standing in line for 45mins just to be disappointed. Paid $2 for nothing, it's also very sad to see a lot of winnipergs standing at a job fair to look for a job they wouldn't get.
