I moved 2500 miles from the east coast to get away from this kind of graffiti art.

Im all for art, BUT we tax payers do not pay taxes for DOT to use for art...we need our roads, especially up here in Snyder/Harrison area, fixed...they are pathetic. Fix the roads first so that kids can actually ride bikes without these hazardous conditions then let's talk about art!!!

With all due respect.
The bike path project on Harrison road was a fast pitch to the public and was put on a fast track to completion.
The cost benefit to all the tax payers here has not been realized.
Currently it is quickly being covered with silt and sand from rain and wind.
This is adding to the maintenance costs to Harrison road which has to be passed to the community in the form of increased taxation.
A slab of cautionary yellow sheet metal and some stick figures called art is a stretch.
As already stated, trash, and graffiti magnet is a better description.
Also be aware during the hot summer, this could be a nesting place for disease ridden rodents and poisons snakes needing to get out of the sun.
Now we're expected to roll over and take this albatross someone is passing off as art?
Now that we are at this point, I would suggest something more compatible with the surrounding landscape.
Neighborhood corner marker with a desert theme?
Decorative street signs?
Even a snake in the median made out of broken tile...?
All this because a bicycle expert in transportation can write a federal grant proposal?
Please do not go forward with placing the large CAUTIONARY YELLOW sheet of metal in our neighborhood.

Although I am a strong proponent for public art, this piece does not belong in the proposed location in Bear Canyon. Perhaps downtown would be a better fit.

If the community was not given the right to input then there should be no sign.

We already have quite enough ugly "artwork" scattered around Tucson. We don't need this.

I agree with the assessment of this piece of fabricated metal. It has no value to add to our beautiful natural surroundings. It will survive if only to look like a windblown piece of debris on the side of the road.

What a joke! Spend the money to properly address the half assed street repairs and not for an out of place scrap metal pile.

This is atrocious and completely unacceptable for the beautiful natural desert landscape that all of us homeowners in this area bought our homes for. Do not place this sculpture here.

This artwork will be completely out of place and detract from the natural beauty of this area. Please move to a more apt location

This sign would more appropriately fit by an elementary school. Please don't add anything further to what has aleady been done to Bowes. The street has so many signss and lights now it's silly. What was once a pretty street is now a mess. Please don't make it worse.

This is not an appropriate sculpture in the context of this area. It will stand out like a horrid sore thumb and detract from the natural beauty we value.
