I feel that if lights are put in, we will then be seeing more accidents. All those trucks who are loaded will not be making it up the hill as well as car drivers. Winter is dangerous enough, now add the lights to this. I hate to see what would happen. I am not for the lights at all.

Although I agree something needs to be done at this intersection, this is not the solution! There will be pile ups all throughout the winter months with the steepness of the hill... Did anyone consider the amount of dump trucks, garbage trucks etc that go this way... Imagine them having to stop in the winter?! I can tell you now they won't, instead they will blow through it and I can guarantee you someone will be killed there because of that... Anything but lights!!!

During the winter that intersection is dangerous enough as it is there will be no hope if the mount Albert road traffic have to sudenly stop

as a passed bus driver of 9 years in Mt Albert this is a crazy idea
that hill in the winter will be SO dangerous
I have lived in this town going in 18 years not seen an accident at this location

I think the words "snow" and "steep hill" don't go together. This feels very shortsighted.

Horrible idea. Have been stuck on this hill before. Put the money into maintenance of the hill.

Huge concern in the winter with plow trucks and tractor trailers. The hill is so icy that I avoid it in the winter if need be. Just imagine stopping up hill and a huge truck in front of you. Could start slidding and bam you have an accident. Not a great idea.

I can't believe that they'd even consider lights at the top of such a hill. Unbelievable way to *create* a safety issue rather than resolve one.
