Stop the Incinerator in Clarion Cl, Llansamlet, Swansea

This is the wrong location and the wrong technology.

Strongly against this incinerator due to high risk of negative health implications for local residents. The proximity to local school and Nature Reserve will cause many problems

This is not the ideal area for an incinerator. No way. Will be let this happen so close to homes and a new School.

Polluting the atmosphere should not be an option. What is the point in having emission targets etc if incinerating waste is permissible? Health implications really need to be considered. The proximity to school & homes indicates a complete disregard for locals & the wider community

I object to this proposal, it is too close to homes, local schools and local businesses including a number of children’s day nurseries across the enterprise zone.

I dont think this is a suitable location for this. This is very near schools and a park, where many young children attend - therefore, this wouldn't be a safe or sensible place to put it.

I strongly disagree with the proposal of this incinerator being built in a very busy highly populated area. It should not be given planning permission for Llansamlet.

I’m not against the use of waste incinerators for burning refuse meant for landfill. Therefore it would be better to build them at existing landfill sites. Not a stones throw from a residential estate.

Hope that Swansea Council see fit to reject this proposal on the grounds of an obvious heath hazard, to locals, and children. Especially as there is a new school in the vacinity.

I dread to think what effect this would have on my children’s health should it be built.

Only profit seeking individuals would look to build a money making facility close to schools and numerous housing estates.

This will have a major impact on the health and well-being of not only the immidate community but on the wider vicinity!

My friends little boy suffers with his asthma and lives near by. He's had many hospital visits and I think this would make his condition much worse.

Do not allow this. There is so much pollution in this area already from the motorway traffic . Our health is already suffering

The impact to the environment and wellbeing of residents would be detrimental! So many concerns to this proposal, increased pollution and health risks!
