I am from Owen Sound but do have numerous ties in the Wiarton area and I do not understand at all why they municipality would even consider yet another quarry in an area that is already over run with them. And, the impact that this new proposed quarry will have on the neighbouring BPSA's fish hatchery should be more than enough to put a halt to this proposal.

There are enough quarries on this road scarring the peninsula. An aerial shot of this region is worth one thousand signatures.

I agree. Additional investigation on the possible impacts to the surrounding areas must be performed before any consideration can be given to proceeding with such an application

There should be a more in depth study of the Karst system. This should include the surrounding areas not just the quarry area

I am very concerned with this quarry and the change if may have to the water flow into the BPSA hatchery. Without the water we won't be able stock fish like we do now.

Am worried water flow at Sportsmans Club Hatchery water flow will be affected as in low water flow now when we have a long dry summer I think there is enough quarries in this area so I definitely vote against opening another one
