Police are here to protect and serve us but some of them harass the young black men in our communities. It's time to take a stand against the harassment, they say they're just doing their job. But when does it become more than just a job, sometimes they act like hunters in the jungle ready for their next target. When is it safe to walk the streets at night being young and a black man, without being stopped and asked where are u going? Where are u coming from? When is it okay to be hand cuffed and told your walking on the wrong side of the street? When is it okay to push an elderly lady with cancer and beat up her grandson? When is okay for the police to ride up to your house, tell you to come here, run your name and say you have a warrant out for your arrest? These are some of the things being said and done by Police Officers. So, now I'm afraid to stand in front of my own door, on my own property. There is good and bad in all of us but as professionals Police Officers must conduct themselves in a proper manner. We say it's not okay and we want the harassment to end, this is the land of the free and the home of the brave, but it does'nt feel that way for a lot of our young black men. But God is above all, we must trust and believe that he will make things right. And it takes us to stand up for what's right and make a difference. We are asking if you or someone you know has been harassed By Police Officers, in any State or County to please sign our petition.. Thank you
