If there was another Ghostbusters movie i would want to buy merchandize like crazy even though i am 31. my son is 1 and he would love it as well. Now we won't be buying any. You guys are going to loose so much money. This idea is stupid. All girls? pfft.

The reboot is only using the recognition value of the Ghostbusters title, logo, and font. The film contains a narrative which isn't related to the narrative of Ghostbusters or Ghostbusters 2, and as such it is essentially a completely new movie with a new narrative. Also, since this isn't connected in any way to any characters, events or otherwise, as depicted in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2, this movie should not use the title, logo, and font of Ghostbusters.

i love melissa mccarthy...but this idea of an all-female cast is just wrong...it's not anything to do with their sex either...what i'm upset with is the total neglect of "the extreme ghostbusters"...i remember watching that cartoon all the time and loved it...it's about a new team of ghostbusters forming up and egon is still around...at one point the old ghostbusters show up and they have to team up with the new crew...that was a two part episode called "back in the saddle"...i thought the idea of the torch getting passed would be perfect for the new movie...but this is the wrong team!!!

Paul Feig and Kattie Dippold do not have the pedigree to handle this franchise, and their casting decisions are quickly showing this fact.
