I have been spending my evenings digging through the official budget projections and the numbers do not add up for our community. This project threatens the future of our local landscape and I will not stop digging until we get some real answers about where our tax money is going.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels like a weight lifting off my chest because it proves I am not the only one fighting for our community. This project threatens our homes and our local economy but your energy gives me the strength to keep pushing until they listen.

Gaston county deserves better than this. Keep our tax money out of this disaster.
40 years of debt? are you kidding me?? NC has way bigger problems than this toll road.
Fix the potholes on the streets we already have before thinking about new toll roads.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! Nobody wants this road and it will just mess up traffic on 85 even worse. Cancel it now.
Ridiculous. We already pay enough in taxes and now they want to charge us to drive on a road that we helped build? Stop this project.

This is a huge waste of our tax dollars. Fixing the existing roads is a better use of money than building a toll road nobody asked for.
