The closing of the L train will directly impCr the attendance of my company's upcoming shows. Our only large show of the year will be hindered by major lack of regularly accessible public transit.

Closing the L on weekends will disrupt businesses and the lives of residents throughout Brooklyn and Ridgewood Queens. Such a bad idea!

BK is the fastest growing county in the US and you're going to kill it?

This would severely disrupt arts-related activities and organizations in the area!

This should have been done on the winter (January/February) during slow season for business on the area. Smorgasburg is starting next week bringing large crowds to the area off the Bedford stop. Stopping service on the weekends for 5 weeks will hurt all businesses on the area. Please postpone these until September.

We have been waiting for April all winter to get that foot traffic into our store. This work will affect my small business directly. The timing is indeed very inconvenient for us. The MTA fare increase doesn't help either.

The L train madness needs to stop. I understand It needs to be worked on but this needs to be done another way.

I work mostly nights and weekends. I can't afford to keep taking cabs after work.

I realize that these disruptions are necessary, however please consider how you are impacting the lives and livelyhoods of thousands of people and businesses in the surrounding community.

Spread it out differently. Six consecutive weekends is immensely taxing on MTA riders and particularly residents of Williamsburg since there's no reasonable alternative means of transportation to and from Manhattan.
