It breaks my heart to see the caged and chained animals. We don't need this kind of "entertainment".

no need for elephants or any other animals not just exotic, for entertainment at the fair. Come on it is 2016! We should also think about the quality and humane raising of our food at the fair.

It is our moral duty to stop marketing the entertainment factor of captured wild animals and make possible a life with dignity in a wildlife sanctuary.

These poor creatures should not be performing. We simply will not go if they are there again next year.

The abuse needs to end! It isn't fair that these beautiful, intelligent creatures are being used so cruelly for human "entertainment". It isn't necessary and is just barbaric! I sincerely hope you reach your goal. No creature deserves to be treated this way.

No better than Michael Vick and what he did. You don't have to be cruel to present entertainment.

I am also appalled that the Guilford Fair Committee would endorse this level of animal abuse and exploitation AND risk the SAFETY of the public.

Can't stand to see any animal caged or being treated this way. If people stopped going to the circus or zoo's for that matter then maybe the animals would be left alone!

Animals belong in their own natural habitat not beaten into performing stupid tricks for stupid humans.

leave wildlife in zoos where they have a stable home & are cared for on a daily routine & predictable schedule. They do not belong in tiny cages, being driven around the country to county fairs. Totally inhumane & I cringe every time I see it. Terrible treatment of animals.

I do not support the isolation of these social animals. They do not deserve to be separated from other elephants, which is contrary to the way they live int he wild. I also do not like the treatment they get to keep them "behaved".
