You offer NOTHING for dog owners? Dog park maybe? TAXATION IS THEFT

Will the animal shelter be able to handle all of the surrendered animals because people can't afford another tax? Do you really want Oconee Deputies wating time with dogs that aren't licenced?

I love and care for my animals. I buy them everything they need when they need it, they are all up to date and never miss a vet appointment. I pay tax on my car property and house and now I have to pay taxes on my pets, that's like paying taxes on me or my plants that I grow. Pets are family not objects.

This is uncalled for. I love my dogs but this would cause so many to have to get rid of their dogs because of the license

Where does taxing the American people stop? You take money from our paychecks we work for, you take money whenever we buy something, you take taxes for our homes & vehicles, you take taxes from us at tax time, now you want taxes on our family members/pets! This is absolutely absurd & unheard of! Just keep taking our freedom & our money & you will have an uprising. You tax me on my animals & I will hire an attorney & will make sure all of the media & social media hears about this as well! I will cause a scene! If you have a problem with bad pet owners that cause problems, then you need to deal with them & keep it at that!!!!

This is a crock of crap. Why should I pay a pet tax. I care for all my animals and I dont let them breed and bother the neighbors. Crack down on irresponsible pet owners. Im tired of paying extra on everything because others choose to be lazy or irresponsible. We need some change in county administrators.

Taxing for owning pets is stupid. This stupidity is why I feel government officials no matter how high up do not deserve to be payed.

I own hunting dogs that are very dear to me that earn their keep helping me put meat on the table for my family to eat. I dont see no reason for anyone to always go after the working man that earns and workes for everything they have. Just think of all the people we're payin for on food stamps not out looking for a job living the high life. You think theyre gonna pay anything for their dogs or cats.....No they gonna put them on the streets. Which means they'd end up at the shelter. How many of you big wigs even have dogs or cats? Youre to busy paying for them big meals and trips to wherever you want to go. Must be nice to make bad decisions for people and you do not consider the consequence.
