The Road Development Authority is destroying a 35 year old ecosystem - forest/ marsh area to build a by-road, which will cause many species of animals and birds to lose their habitat and cause flooding even due to the smallest of rains. No environmental risk assessments regarding this have been conducted, which is disappointing considering the location is RIGHT INFRONT OF The Central Environmental Authority, Sri Lanka. This is along Dencil kobbakaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla, Colombo.
We plan on giving this petition to the CEA of Sri Lanka.
