I don't support this project. And furthermore this city council has made quite a few questionable decisions in the past. I have had personal dealings with one of the Forney city council members recently and I can tell you he is a self centered individual with no integrity!!!!!

I am against Project Fireball. I moved to Forney in February 2018 after 18 years IN MESQUITE. We went for a Sunday drive in October and took the Gateway exit just to see where the road went. We had no idea the community was so nice, we werent looking to buy just riding. We decided to buy a house in Gateway during the drive. We would not have purchased a home here if there was a warehouse or knew one was coming.
We will move out of the city if this gpes through.

This area needs to be kept as intended with shops and money being brought in that way not through a distribution center going towards corporate.

This is not a good of idea for the future of Forney or the citizens who have purchased homes in an area believed to be for residential usage.

We are staying with friends in this neighborhood and looking at buying a home in this area. But if this goes light industrial instead of the retail that was promised, then we'll be looking into Mesquite or Rockwall for sure.
