This is desecration of sacred ground. The land and the remains buried there should be treated as a historical cemetery and properly respected.

All human beings deserve honor and respect. It is time to honor the lives of those whose voices were discounted; it is time to right the wrongs of convict leasing and its effect on people color.

I believe that what was done to my ancestors was wrong and inhuman. However, we can’t change the past. I feel that our people have far exceeded the expectations of our past.
I believe in the Bible and in the word it says that our people would be punished for our disobedience to our father and his statutes/commandments.
However, this punishment is coming to an end. Like Moses, “let my people go.” The land that those slaves our history deserves to lay right where they where buried and found. Allow there souls to Rest In Peace. They helped build this land into what it is today. And, I believe that they would have help without slavery but, they weren’t given the chance.
This piece of land actually was already given to them by the ancestors of those who buried them there. This earth is filled with so many other unoccupied land that can be utilized for school grounds and what ever your hearts desire.
Think about it. Who wants to learn on a known burial ground of any humankind? Just because the bodies are moved, doesn’t move their restless soul.
To me, this is not a political battle, this is a plea to honor those who make up the history of Texas. It may have happen in an unorthodox way but they are still part of all of our history. Not just black history but, the history of all mankind.
So this is a plea to Governor Abbott and his constituents to allow this land to be name a part of Texas history.

Desecration ends now..we as human beings of flesh and soul have an obligation to our brother and sisters of this planet earth to reunite w their families and respect their resting place paying homage to these precious souls by not disturbing their placement...humanity must march forward now in our great land of TEXAS.
