i worked there for many years, it was an amazing helpful place just needed updating it caters for local people as well as out of area. Lister is difficult to reach and over crowded all the time.!!!

Please leave our hospital alone as a regular inpatient I can tell you now it's not working at lister hospital they don't have the beds or the staff 9 hrs I waited for a bed sitting on a hard chair with severe pain.

Stevenage can not cope with QE2 closure, so we will be sent to Watford, Hemel Hempstead or even Harlow. That is not acceptable

Listen to the public. Listen to the tax payers. The majority of schools have closed. Now you are closing our hospital and referring patients and would be patients to a hospital that cannot cope. Yet you want to build more houses for more residents. WE THE PEOPLE, SHOULD BE HEARD

there was nothing wrong with the qe2 hospital the money they spent on the new 1 they could of put tht money in 2 the old qe2 2 make it a bit better

i think its to late as ground has already been sold or so im told i dont where the name of the new build came from theold hospial is called queen elizabeth 11 hospital it was shortend to the qe11 by local people it woulde have made more sense to do it up as it has wards people will realise when they need a hospital bed

it's highly likely that someone will die in an ambulance stuck in a traffic jam on the A1M. With all the projected housing schemes in the pipeline we need a proper local hospital even more. The new building is nothing more than a collection of clinics.

It's just crazy to expect the residents of wgc and hatfield and anywhere else that would usually use the QE11 to have to get to Stevenage when they may be in a lot of pain and or distress. We don't all drive so we either have to use public transport or call a taxi if we have no one able to take us, or call an ambulance and put even more pressure on this struggling resource. Even if it's just for a routine appointment it can cause added stress and expense that may result in people cancelling as they may feel that it's just too much to cope with. That extra journey will also cause a lot more pain for some people which will put them off going.
So please think again and keep it open, alot of us desperately need it.
