Peace Family, the Songhai Nation is rallying together to reverse the Trump administration's decision to reduce funding for Medicaid throughout the country. We find that this is an authentic need within our community because statistics show that not only many Philadelphians, but many Pennsylvanians depend on the support of Medicaid. The defunding of Medicaid could cause an increase in taxes, less funding for education, or a lack of access to medicaid to our community, espicailly senior citizens and those with disabilities. healthcare is a right not a privilege. dont cut it please.
My neighbors rely on this just to get their meds every month. This is just cruel.
So many people NEED Medicaid, and would have NO insurance at all if not for it. Trump is horrible.
Too many people are guna suffer if these cuts go through. really hope they change their minds.
This is gonna hurt so many families in philly. really sad to see this happening.
