The Devon Youth Service is under threat to cuts by Devon County Council. They plan to cut youth services by £970,000 and to make 60 full time staff redundent. It will lead to the closure of almost all of the centers in Devon.
Please sign my petition as we have no where else to go! Thank you so much for people that are able to sign it. It means a lot to all the youth workers that work there and to all the young people that go to the clubs.
Without the youth clubs, the young people that go to the youth clubs will have no where to go, they'll just hang round the streets and risk getting into trouble by the police.
While the Youth services have been available in Devon and various other places, the youth crime has gone down, without these services, the youth crime could go up.
I'm a young person who goes to a youth club and it has helped me grow in confidence loads, I don't know were I would be without it.
if you are able to please share this petition on facebook and/or twitter to try and get more people to able to sign it as well. Thanks if you are able to share it on Facebook or Twitter.
