The people who are complaining about this. Should be disgusted with themselves. This is so heartbreaking for the parents. Now they have to deal with this. I hope the council takes this petition seriously. What harm is actually being done !?!

Sorry to hear that there are thoughtless people out there. Loosing a child is the worst thing that could happen having to deal with you shouldnt have to deal with morons on top of that x

Such a lovely memorial that’s means a lot to the family. This bench has become a place where people can feel close to ted and provide some support for the family.

Aww it's unfair that they want to do this!! People have no idea the pain these people are in unless you have been through it yourself which I have. I hope they get heart and leave it!

Let Ted's family and friends grieve and show their respect the way they choose. It's not an eyesore or offensive.

I am disgusted that the council have even considered asking this. This bench and the tributes on it make me smile. And is now a landmark for the area

How disgraceful! Surely Teds family have suffered enough without you removing this beautiful memorial! There are far more pressing issues than a perfectly harmless bench!

Disgusted by this, after all they’ve been through. Cannot understand how anybody in their right mind would complain about a memorial for a child! Keep Teds bench!!
