Stop the councils removal of tributes on Ted’s bench

Leave the flowers and other bits on the bench! Have a heart!

RIP little one! Why is this such a problem for a grieving family/friends to leave items on the bench no different to leaving on a graveside in my views, which this family do not have! Let the grieve and have the one place to be with their child with the belongings they wish to have!

Please let this family have somewhere to remember their little Ted xx

A little boy should be able to have his own area where family can celebrate Christmas and birthdays with him, shame on the council!!

There is absolutely no reason to remove items from this bench. It offers comfort to not only parents but other members of the community. A thoughtless act with asking it to be moved. Think again.

This bench wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the unfortunate passing of ted where did these people used to sit!!! It’s a memorial bench hence the items left like u would do at a grave.

How petty can some people be! Get a life and let the life of this beautiful boy be remembered!

As an auntie to Ted I am disgusted Whitnash Town Council I support a lot of what you do, but this is wrong and to make a grieving family now have extra worries after such an awful year over just a few flowers and a balloon is ridiculous. If there isn’t enough room to sit surely the person could push whatever is in the way down a little. I think there are more bigger issues in Whitnash to consider than this!!

hardly an excessive amount of things on it...if this bench and the few items provide comfort to a grieving family then let it be. Until you have lost a child you will never know the true heartache it causes...having somewhere to go at birthdays, xmases etc can be the difference between coping and not

It’s not harming anyone concentrate on real issues

No one should be forced to remover memories nor should itams placed in memory be removed people should have respect for others who are no longer here... How would they like it if it was a loved one or them self's

A family have lost their little one, its a disgrace how people have complained about having a few things sitting on the bench. There s enough room for other people to sit on. I hope the family are able to have things on the bench specially on special dates to remember their child
