It is an absolute disgrace that these poor dogs were brutally killed and that the running of a UK charity is being interfered with by the Mayor and people working for him. This is nothing but corruption and intimidation.

The president of Romania must bring his country into the modern world. He must use European funding for safe and caring neutering, not to pay cruel dogcatchers to mistreat and murder innocent animals.
He should be helping and supporting rescuers, not harassing them.

The Romanian government should stop ALL cruelty to strays and the dog catchers should be imprisoned as their practices are sub human and disgraceful. If Romania doesn't stop their obscene cruelty, the EU will soon boycott everything to do with them. Any country that allows cruelty to dogs isn't fit to be members of the EU. Appalling behavior.
