PETITION TO STOP THE CONVERSION OF STANWELL HOTEL INTO A MALE-ONLY ASYLUM FACILITY

This decision has been made without proper consultation and ignores the impact on our community. Stanwell has already taken more than its fair share of asylum accommodation, and replacing families with an all-male population risks changing the character of our village, straining local services, and creating avoidable safeguarding concerns. This is not about prejudice — it’s about fairness, safety, and ensuring residents are heard in decisions that affect us directly. The Home Office must reverse this directive and commit to an open consultation before making further changes.

We r just a small village not equipped to deal with all male asylum seekers find an alternative dwelling that doesnt impact local people

I have family who live in Stanwell, their are all female and are terrified knowing these swap rats are heading to the hotel. This will only end in blood shed. The people of Stanwell won't stand for it.

More money wasted on fit young men. Put them in ex army accommodation, if its good enough for British soldiers it is more than good enough for illegal economic migrants (sorry asylum con artists)

This hotel should not be used to house Single males in this community. Its too near to families with children. And quite a few families in poverty. This would be a red flag for trouble.

Needs to be stopped.

To keep our children and grandchildren safe and women in our community.

Get them out of the hotel and my area

What on earth would we want this for? Why can’t we help the people in our own country who need help first? Crime rate will double for sure, in an area with a poor reputation already

We need to keep our children and our grandchildren safe. Also Women are very vulnerable no matter what age, even Men could be vulnerable as well.

No way this is a family area.

This is completely inappropriate. The current residents are well integrated into the community and it would be detrimental to their wellbeing to move them

I think it’s disgraceful to move settled families who have integrated to accommodate new single males who could go to different accommodation.
