PETITION TO STOP THE CONVERSION OF STANWELL HOTEL INTO A MALE-ONLY ASYLUM FACILITY

I am disgusted that they want to put a local community at risk! Our children are already restricted in the area due to this hotel set up ! You only need to visit the local park and see why our children can’t go out and play!

I am writing to formally object to the proposed conversion of stanwell hotel into a male-only asylum accommodation facility in our residential area. While I fully support the need for humane and safe accommodation for asylum seekers and recognise the importance of upholding our international responsibilities, I am concerned that the current proposal is not suitable for our local community f

Send them back to their own countries, we have enough of our own that are living on the streets and some of those have fought for this country. Not just jumped off a boat into it.

One of the families presently at the hotel are valued members of St Hilda's Church Ashford. The son sings in the choir the mother is our treasurer and the father tends the grounds and carries out light repairs. They play a huge part in any activities and are a blessing to our community. They take nothing and give so much. I am dismayed that it is taken so long for their asylum to be agreed.

Stop the illegal immigrants in our towns and villages

We do not want unvetted men, around our children.
