PETITION TO STOP THE CONVERSION OF STANWELL HOTEL INTO A MALE-ONLY ASYLUM FACILITY

This is not right

We need our hotel back . Living in Stanwell all my life we want our safe community back .

Stanwell says no We wants are children and women to be able to walk the streets safely shops are being robbed with knives enough is enough

Enough is enough we have to stand together

This is a village hub. Ther is a problem with males approaching young girls

For safety and kids

I have no objection to the hotel continuing to house asylum families but I do have serious concerns about those who have found stability in our community being forced to relocate and having had this plan made with no communication to the local community and I can see the hotel from my house so feel I would have known if due diligence was practiced

Enough is enough I’ve seen my town down down hill for years it’s dirty and unsafe where it used to to be lovely and clean and safe not blaming anyone in particular but I don’t even recognise it now

This is so unsafe people I know already been approached and felt unsafe

UK families first asylum seekers, many of which have entered our country illegally last.

We, the undersigned residents, community members, and concerned individuals, strongly oppose the proposed conversion of the Stanwell Hotel into a male-only asylum accommodation facility. While we support compassionate and lawful treatment of asylum seekers, we believe this particular proposal is inappropriate for the Stanwell community for the following reasons: ❗ Community Impact Lack of Consultation: Local residents have not been adequately informed or consulted on this significant change, which directly affects the character and dynamics of our village. Imbalanced Demographics: A male-only facility could lead to an unbalanced demographic influx, causing social strain and safety concerns, especially in a small, close-knit area. Unsuitable Location Stanwell Hotel’s Location is adjacent to family homes, schools, and community spaces. A facility of this kind should be situated in an area better equipped with infrastructure and services to accommodate such a population responsibly. Tourism & Local Business Impact: The hotel is a historical and functional part of the community’s hospitality economy. Its loss could harm local businesses and employment opportunities.

Send them back and put them in an all male hotel at home not here thankyou
