This program was not fully developed and is lacking proper review by specialist's in child development and education. Children are unique and one size does not fit all.

Having a teacher in the family we fully understand how much out of pocket money they use in order to do what is expected of them , it shouldn't be . Thank you

I hate this common core junk. My son had always made good grades and did not have any trouble in school and this year he has been having so much trouble that I had to get him a tutor. His self esteem was so low and he would cry not wanting to go to school because it was to hard and way over his head. There is not a day that goes by that he brings something home that I don't even know how to show him how to do it. He is in first grade and when I was in first grade we didn't do all the stuff that he has to do now. When he comes home in the afternoon we are doing homework for about two hours And sometimes three. Why can't schools be like it use to be?

This common core initiative is putting so much stress on the children it is rediculous. Children are loosing self esteem trying to learn in the first grade what children use to have to learn in the third grade. This has not been implemented properly and has been brough on so rapidly alot of children will be left behind.

Go back to traditional teaching principles. Our country was built on them!
