Have worked with the EA on river restorationso designed specifically to support eel populations on the Isle of Wight so to hear this is still happening beggars belief! Eels used to be a common treat for my family - we stopped eating them as soon as we understood they were BAP-Lsited. If we can stop, so can everyone else!

This is pretty much insane when there are eels missing from wetlands where they used to be plentiful
